StrollerPower! is an all-over body workout program designed and taught by mothers trained in backgrounds that include triathlon, spinning, kickboxing, race training/x-country running, and yes, stroller fitness. Training groups typically range from 5-30 moms with stroller-age children led through challenging 60-75 minute exercise routines on local trails and parks. StrollerPower! is about creating a healthy life balance, a foundation from which much else is possible, and the strength to accomplish what you never thought possible. Your first StrollerPower! class is always free, and virtually all moms that try StrollerPower!, stay with StrollerPower! Just visit our Calendar and Locations sections and join us on the trail with your baby (of course), water, jogger or stroller, sunscreen/sunglasses as appropriate and a workout towel. Please print, sign, and bring the SrollerPower! Waiver and Release Form to your first workout.

After your first workout, we hope you will choose to purchase a workout punch card, good for 10 or 30 classes within 90-120 days (no wasteful monthly member fees, yeah!); after you use the card up, just purchase another one – it’s  that easy! You pay a  one-time initiation fee of $30, and you receive a workout band which we often use on the trail. We prefer cash or check, and are working on an on-line payment option. Your instructor will accept your payment and provide you with a (new) punch card; at each workout she will simply punch another hole in your card.

We welcome you to join our Community section, our very active Yahoo! Group and the many moms nights out. More importantly, with StrollerPower! you have an opportunity to challenge yourself, reach goals like that next 5K or 10K, gain new friendships and support through motherhood and beyond, and workout with your baby or toddler – or for some our members – with their babies!

Pacesetting is very much an important component of StrollerPower! as is progress! The program consists of a warm-up, drills, and a cool-down period. Each day is different which makes the program fun while also contributing towards your results. Examples of routines and exercises we do include but are not limited to: resistance training with bands, jog/run/jog/sprint, power yoga and strength conditioning, baby-abs and crunches, stroller-weaves, squats/lunges, dips and pushups, ladder drills. You progress with other moms at your pace with the confidence that you have the support of the whole StrollerPower! group and instructors.

We recommend waiting until your baby is at least 8 weeks of age to begin class, and be able to move along in a stroller or jogger safely. Many of our moms will often bring their toddler and their newborn, and working out outside is a terrific way for moms to ensure their children, even at young age, understand and appreciate the importance of exercising and the beauty of doing it in the great outdoors! If you need to take a break to tend to your baby, please feel free, you will be able to catch up at the next sculpting stop.
