Naomi James – Founder
Naomi James is the founder of StrollerPower! and the mother of two children, Jonah (9) and Talia (6) and lives in Willow Glen with her husband of 13 years. Her first labor was over 36 hours and second was 12 hours followed by a C-section! Both meant she had her work cut out in order to get into the shape she was used to – previously competing at the collegiate level in track, cross-country and finishing numerous long-course triathlons and the LA Marathon in 103 degree heat!
Naomi is certified in the instruction of post-natal fitness, spinning, trained in endurance and cardio-respiratory fitness and CPR, including infant CPR. By blending this workout approach with core strength and resistance exercises in a fun atmosphere conducive to the stroller and baby jogger, her goal is that moms experience real results and balance in their lives. Hearing success stories, enjoying it with her children, and building friendships on the trail is what keeps her going.
Jess Hardy
Jess found Stroller Power by accident. A collegiate athlete turned stay at home mom, Jess and then 6 month old daughter, spotted Stroller Power moms and babies on the trail near her home. She joined in and soon found encouragement, inspiration, and friendship among the women. Jess enjoys setting a healthy example for her children, and understands the importance of exercise before, during and after pregnancy-she lived it! As a Stroller Power trainer for 4 years, Jess has since successfully completed 5 half marathons and one full marathon. In her spare time, she enjoys running after Talyn, now 5 and Lincoln, age 3.
Julie Schnitzer
Growing up in Colorado gave Julie – our Level 1 trainer – a great love for outdoor activity from the start. She grew up spending time with her family hiking, skiing, boating, rafting, mountain biking, and camping. She finds herself right at home out on the trail with her 14- month old daughter Makayla.
StrollerPower! has been Julie’s outlet since Makayla was 11 weeks old, where she can always find another mom to discuss the joys (and sometimes challenges) of parenting! The women of SP are motivated, positive, goal oriented, and amazing mothers — this is what keeps Julie going day to day.
Jessica Ralston
Bring involved in competitive sports her entire life, Jessica Ralston never had trouble staying fit. However, after the birth of her first child, she had difficulty getting back her competitive edge. After her daughter turned 3 months old, she sought out Stroller Power, and it was just what she needed! Not only did it get her back in shape to play all the sports she loves, but it also gave her a chance to meet other new moms. Seeing that many shared her struggle to get back in shape after pregnancy, she wanted to be more involved in Stroller Power and has been teaching classes for over a year. Now pregnant with her second child, Jessica continues to enjoy the physical benefits, as well as the supportive community of moms and dads that Stroller Power provides.
Heidi Stewart

Heidi has been passionate about health and fitness for the past 15 years. With a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do she began in the fitness industry as a kickbox aerobics instructor at the age of 15. From there she moved into Personal Training and Pilates instruction, while completing a double Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology and Nutritional Science from California State University Chico (2003). She has successfully run two small fitness businesses and worked as a tri-athlete and spokeswoman for Adidas. Her newest job as a mother has proved to be the most challenging and rewarding so far! After giving birth to her son Jordan via emergency c-section and a complicated pregnancy on partial bed-rest she gained a significant amount of weight. Coupled with the weight gain she was diagnosed with postpardum depression.. Joining Stroller Power as a client is what got her healthy in body, mind and soul! She tried many other ‘mom workout’ programs but found this one to be the most supportive, enjoyable, and fun which is why she enjoys both training and teaching with Stroller Power today!
